What People say about the Kundalini Yoga Journey to India…

Gloria from Zürich: «This was my first trip to India, and it was a perfect introduction. Visiting the temples and experiencing the origins of the mantras was very valuable and enriching for me. This led to a significant engagement with my own yoga practice and ultimately brought me much closer to it.»

Tomoko from Zürich: «I was called to embark on this Yatra journey! Everything aligned perfectly: the timeframe, the location, and the teachers who accompanied us with their passion and love, guiding us to explore the deepest aspects of ourselves. The thoughtful introduction to the world of Sikhism and life in India by Parvinder and his team was top-notch. The 10 days were profoundly transformative; my heart opened up and became filled with love, gratitude, and joy. A heartfelt thank you to Paravinder Ji, Judith, Pedro, and, of course, our fantastic cooking team. The Golden Temple is a must-visit for everyone. The energy of devotion and prayers from people across India and the world, transcending religious boundaries, will uplift you and fill you with peace, love, and gratitude!»

Selma from Sweden: «Jio yatra is such a cherished experience- expansive, sweet and introspective! The hosts were very accommodating and provided a well organised event with a dose of humility, humour and kindness. I will forever be thankful I made the decision to go, to the guidance provided by the lovely hosts and the other participants who became new friends!»

Julie from Belgium: «India has always been a country that I wanted to visit. The diverse religions, cultures, food and people have always held a facination for me. When Imagine Academy advertised that they were planning a Yantra to India for 10 days I knew straight away that this was my opportunity to go, who knows when the next opportunity arises! Visiting some remarkable temples was a very interesting experience. Helping out in the kitchen, meditating and feeling the immense energy surrounding us was exhilarating.
The food was fabulous! At the retreat, along the way with the cooks that came with us and in the different restaurants we visited.
Finally, I would say that I loved the wonderful people who came along. It was a joy to meet new people and enjoy the journey with them. The whole Yantra was well organised with opportunities to do yoga, enjoy opportunities to meditate, explore Amritsar, shop, eat and just relax.
I would recommend this journey to those people who would love to see life from another view point. It provided me with an opportunity to learn, appreciate what I have, explore and enjoy the adventure of the Yatra.»

Siri Bhrosa, Zürich: «The Jio Yatra was an experience beyond words! Sitting in the undescribable Golden Temple at sunrise, meditating together on the banks of the Ganges, the evening fire ritual at the Parmath Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, the healing sounds in the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, the shared meals in the Langars... when I think back, my heart and soul expand! Unforgettable how we walked down the steps of the narrow and dark stairwell in Goindwal Sahib to practice the traditional 84 Step Meditation.
If you have the slightest desire to do this Journey, do it! It is an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the spirituality of India and Yoga. India can be overwhelming in its abundance - it's good to be in a loving and caring group. Judith and Parwinder not only impart knowledge and background information about Yoga and Sikhism, they also take care of all participants with infinite patience and care.
The daily shared yoga and meditation practice create the ideal breeding ground for experiencing the sacred places deeply and trustingly. My personal concern before booking the trip was that being in a group for two weeks straight might be too much for me. However, these concerns were completely dispelled during the trip there was no peer pressure felt at any moment and alone time was always possible when desired.
This Trip left me with a permanent homesickness for India -
I will definitely go again!»

Bettina Eichenberger, Ramsgate UK: «The memory of our Yatra connects me with the heart. This was my first trip to India and it tuck me directly to the roots of Kundalini Yoga. It will remain in me as life changing experience. Deeply thankful for the guidance of our Host Parvinder and his family, the lovely Judith and all the wonderful participants. I will always carry the powerful energy of the Golden Temple, with me, the memories of our excursions and the views of the Himalayas. What a blessing. »

Monika Noël from Tokyo, Japan: «This trip to India was very exceptional for me. I was enjoying the Sadhana classes with Judith before sunrise and the wonderful classes with Parvinder. The first time in my life I experienced Yoga in a different way, the deepness of its meaning. It was very interesting to travel around and visit sacred places and temples. I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to know India and the culture of Yoga. Judith and Parvinder organized the Yatra in an optimal way. The food was great and I enjoyed the Ayurveda cooking class and my favorite was the dancing class. Absolutely amazing. »

Sandra Thür from Zürich: «The Yatra was an optimal time for me to approach my life from a different perspective… like letting space and time and sanitary barriers go. The group was very harmonious. Parvinder taught us to hear our own inner vibrations trough chanting sounds. I thank everyone for the wonderful time full of beautiful experiences.»
